7+ years in the making, Final Light is a science-fantasy comedy-drama series with elements of satire and mild horror sprinkled in for good measure. Set 100 million years into the future, it follows, over a couple series, a few generations of aliens (and some humans) living in a galaxy just around the corner from our own, as we follow their efforts to save civilization from the rapidly approaching heat death of the universe. But how ARE you going to save the galaxy when everyone’s so wrapped up in petty wars, gossip and indulgence?

Here, you’ll find each and every instalment to the Final Light saga, as well as some extras for the hell of it. If, after you’re finished reading and you don’t want to tear your eyeballs out, scroll down to catch up with some nice lore.

The Zingo Galaxy – a place plagued by gluttony, vapidity and petty politics; a cosmic territory unkempt and dangerous, though the incompetent aliens ruling it proclaim it as otherwise; a cesspool doomed to spiral into a new dark age of ignorance and stupidity.. So overall, quite a crappy place. One desperate for intellectual reformation, a boost in scientific progress and a fundamental shift in the galactic consciousness. At least, this is what Alkii, self proclaimed ‘Messenger of the Truth’, believes. Sent off into the galaxy by her like minded mother, Alkii’s mission is to recruit enough ‘disciples’ out of the galactic community in order to kickstart an era ‘brimming with excellent minds with the capacity to change the galaxy for the better’, just as her predecessors, the Creeki, would have wanted.

The problems start to arise when you take into account that 1, Alkii is only 12 years old, and no one seems to take her seriously – not that that matters because 2, the heat death of the Universe appears to be arriving early, with black holes and exploding stars causing trouble seemingly everywhere she goes. Oh, what is Alkii to do? But alas, our dear Messenger is not alone in her quest. With a handful of equally dysfunctional beings by her side – including the naive but well intentioned Galaxy Princess yearning to explore the cosmos, and a thespian ape-looking thing supposedly taken from a planet named after soil – will Alkii be able to accomplish her goal and save the galaxy? And possibly win the approval of those around her as a bonus?
